WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS CAREER?

Well, today i gonna tell you how i'm here today in Biochemistry. 

When i was a child, five or six years, i told my mom that i will find the cure of cancer, in the other hand, also i have loved the dance and singing, and i tried to dedicate myself to that, but sadly i don't have the skills, so i pick up the science.

During my school life i participated in many science fair and math Olympics, and my best subjects were science and math, so i had a clear idea to the what kind of career i will pick, a scientific one. 

My first choice was Medicine, because it had me the choice  to the investigate and have touch with people and help them  directly in the consultations and is't so profitable, even though is's a 10-years career. And a red a brochure of Biochemistry and take my attention, so in the last year when i apply to scholarships, i apply to Medicine and Biochemistry.

Then in the postulation i put Biochemistry in first place (In another university), because i could study by free in a time when is't exist the free education in higher education, but i don't stay in that university, then in second place i put Medicine in U. de Chile (If i put it in first place i would probably studying that).

I put in third place Biochemistry in U. de Chile (the third time is the charm) and take me a couple of years convince me that i have been studying Biochemistry in this university, and it's gives me more chances to cure the cancer that i would have given medicine, so were i a'm, trying to finish the career to have all the toils to cure the cancer and help as many people as posible.

During this three years (this is the fourth) i have to fight with myself to force me to study and stay here, my friends here and my fiance, have given me the support to reach my goals, aren't be easy, but i will get to headline.

When i think in the kind of job i will have when i finish the career, i imagine me in a lab researching, or giving class of chemistry or biochemistry, i think that the university is the place were i will spend my time even after i been a student.
